1819/(8) Matron Head Large Cent. N-2. R-1. Large Date. Die State A. PCGS AU-58+. A beautiful example of this popular overdate. Early die state with a sharp strike, and with overdate clear and distinct. Obverse is olive brown with nice original reflective, iridescent, fields. Reverse is chocolate brown with some wispy dark olive splashes. Very attractive. To date 2/10/2023 PCGS has only graded a single 1819/8 N-2, in AU58+.
