1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 49-f, R5. Head Left. Very Good Details, Damaged at rim adjacent plow handles. Die state 2, as the die is beginning to fail in right field from the mane. 149.08 grains. Apart from the previously mentioned damage the fields are quite smooth. Well centered with all devices and lettering strong. The date shows some weakness but is fully readable. An affordable and presentable example of this rare head left variety.
